Lapis lazuli was associated with many goddesses and queens throughout the ancient world, but perhaps most especially in Egypt. This particular piece is named for Cleopatra, the mythically beautiful Macedonian Queen of Egypt, who astutely navigated the convergence of her kingdom with Rome. Cleopatra adorned herself with lapis lazuli jewelry and used finely crushed lapis as eyeliner, captivating the affections of Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
This delicate yet magical ring is crafted in a solid silver setting, making an elegant statement fit for a goddess.

Our Materials
Every Catori Life piece is ethically handcrafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico and New York City from 100% recycled metal. No newly mined metal, ever.
Bronze: 100% recycled, hand polished solid bronze
Sterling silver: recycled solid sterling silver. Some of our silver chains are rhodium plated to keep from tarnishing. Please be sure to see product details.
Gold: solid recycled 10k, 14k or 18k gold, SCS Global certified. Never plated or filled.
Nickel and allergen free. Where a chain or hook is gold fill or gold vermeil, we note it on the product.
Care: bronze and silver warm to a soft patina over time. Polish with a soft cloth to bring back the shine.

Each made-to-order piece is crafted just for you. Please allow 2 to 5 weeks for us to make and ship your order.
